Packs of a solitary time travelers

A Hound of Tindalos are time traveling solitary pack hunting demon. The pack is made up of the hound from different periods of time in its life that all converge on a single point in standard space time to hunt their prey. a single hunt will feed it for days (which are likely to be non consecutive). 

They are intelligent in an unpredictable alien sort of way. they hate the company of anyone but themselves, and even then they squabble. Perhaps one promises to teach you your arcane secrets when you were a child because you will spare its life when it came to hunt you tomorrow, or maybe it's only saying that so that you lowered your guard, it doesn’t look particularly peckish anymore, but it did keep it's word.

If you are being hunted remember the oldest hound knows everything that happened to the younger versions of itself so the only chance of victory is to kill the oldest hound. Members of the pack can switch place with each other at any time. The others have already fought you and lived to escape they didn’t die here. When a hound is defeated it retreats, or if enough damage is done another hound will intercede and take some of the damage. keep it fair but note this kind of demon operates using closed loop time travel and does not generate any paradoxes beyond causal loops without interference from another demon or mage mucking about with time. 

While hunting the hound (in all its incarnations) will utilise arcane magic to manipulate physics to its advantage. perhaps it will use gravity or lasers.

Hounds set up up lairs in a particular junctions of space and time where it keeps its written plans for attack, nurses itself when it was injured or hungry. The lair only exists for about a week after which the hound burns the lair down. perhaps players could retrieve pieces of prophetic text from the ashes. attacking it head on should be a guaranteed failure the hound is there in at least a hundred incarnations with prior knowledge you were coming, and it stayed. 

stats as a blink dog but with knowledge of at least 1 single use physics spells and 1 weaker physics spell that can be used at will. can swap with other hounds at will.
